3. "NO PAYMENT, NO KEYS"
• An express lien is acknowledged on my vehicle to secure the amount of services thereto.
4. "ONLINE COMMUNICATION OK"
• I welcome email from Southern Charm Mobile Auto Repair - as a means of receiving copies of my estimate, work order, and invoice.
5. "HERE'S MY SIGNATURE"
• I endorse the attached digital image of my signature as equivalent to my written signature and as proof of my agreement to these terms. (1-27)
6. "LABOR RATE"
• Labor Rate $150.00 Per Hour on parts we supply. Labor Rate for European vehicles is $170 Per Hour.
7. "REFUNDS/ WARRANTY"
• No Warranty on Items Stated (NW), 6 Month 6,000 Mile Warranty (Whichever comes first) Warranty is only valid from initial repair order date and mileage Southern Charm Mobile Auto Repair reserves the rights to void any warranty at any time. Southern Charm Mobile Auto Repair may issue a refund once a refund Addendum is completed. Warranty for Southern Charm Mobile Auto Repair is only valid if the customer is in the state of "North Carolina". Southern Charm Mobile Auto Repair warranty is only valid if the vehicle is located within a 25-Mile service area of Mecklenburg County, and within the state of North Carolina. Sublet items are non-warranty with Southern Charm Mobile Auto Repair. All sublet warranty claims are to be submitted to the sublet repair facility. This Limited Warranty does not cover: Any damage to your car caused by abnormal use (such as use in a commercial venture), misuse, neglect (such as not performing maintenance services in accordance with the instructions in the owner’s manual for your car), alteration or tampering, or by external causes (such as accidents, fire, water and freezing). Any diagnostic or inspection service including pre-purchase inspection services provided through Southern Charm Mobile Auto Repair. Any issues unrelated to the Vehicle Services ordered by you (e.g., if you order an alternator replacement because your car was not starting, and the car continues not to start after the alternator is replaced, this Limited Warranty does not cover the fact that the car does not start); Any pre-existing condition with your car that is not known by the Technician prior to starting the Vehicle Services and that is discovered during or after the Vehicle Services are performed (e.g., if you engage the Technician to replace valve cover gaskets, but during the removal of the valve covers, worn plastic hoses break because they are old and brittle; repairing and/or replacing the plastic hoses under that scenario would not be covered by this Limited Warranty); Any repairs that you request the Technician perform beyond those included in the Technician’s diagnosis of the problem, and which the Technician performs, even if those additional repairs are needed to fix the issue you asked the Technician to diagnose; provided, however, that if you authorize and pay for additional repairs through Southern Charm Mobile Auto Repair, such additional repairs would be included in the Vehicle Services and covered by this Limited Warranty; and Any consequential effects of the Vehicle Services performed, unrelated to any of the parts replaced being defective or any of the repair work being done incorrectly (e.g., if you request a transmission fluid service, but because you have not been replacing the transmission fluid regularly, when the Technician replaces the fluid, with the right fluid installed properly, your transmission stops shifting properly because it cannot handle the new fluid—this is a “consequential effect” not covered by this Limited Warranty). This Limited Warranty is entirely void when: Any parts not ordered Southern Charm Mobile Auto Repair, are installed by the Technician; Any Vehicle Service request is made by you that deviates from a manufacturer’s recommendation (e.g., conventional oil is requested by you for an oil change but the owner’s manual for your vehicle calls for synthetic oil); or After receiving the Vehicle Services, you take your car to a person not scheduled and processed through Southern Charm Mobile Auto Repair to diagnose or repair a problem believed to be associated with such Vehicle Services, without giving Southern Charm Mobile Auto Repair, the first opportunity to inspect and remedy the problem (or to consent to an alternative person or shop from doing so). Any determination of whether this Limited Warranty does not apply or is otherwise void as to a particular warranty claim shall be made by us in our sole discretion. You will be charged for one hour of labor fees if a service call is made under this Limited Warranty for an alleged defect determined not to be the result of a defect in materials or workmanship of the Vehicle Services. You must pay for any non-warranty service ordered at the same time as any warranty service.
8. "CUSTOMER SUPPLIED PARTS"
• (CSP) Customer supplied parts: We do not install customer supplied parts.
9. "CREDIT CARDS AND OTHER PAYMENTS"
• Credit Cards, Cash, Payment link or Afterpay are the only accepted forms of payment.
10. "Analysis/testing FEES"
• Analysis/testing Fee(s) include One hour of testing. Payments for analysis/testing are due upon arrival. Additional labor may be required for specific tests. Southern Charm Mobile Auto Repair reserves the right to "VOID" any analysis/testing job at any time. Additional time may be required for proper analysis/testing and labor will be charged at Southern Charm Mobile Auto Repair hourly labor rate. Southern Charm Mobile Auto Repair requires authorization on any additional labor. Failure to agree to additional labor may result in a "VOID" analysis/testing and you "The Consumer" are still required to pay agreed upon analysis/testing charges. Failure to pay a analysis/testing charge may result in "An express lien" see term 3 on Southern Charm Mobile Auto Repair "Terms and Conditions" page. If Southern Charm Mobile Auto Repair, provides the parts and the vehicle has had a analysis/testing completed within the last 30-days Southern Charm Mobile Auto Repair will apply a $50.00 credit towards the needed repair(s). ($50.00 can only be applied to the same vehicle). Limit one $50.00 credit per appointment/vehicle. All above prices are subject to taxes and other applicable fees.
11. "FUEL"
Southern Charm Mobile Auto Repair, requires vehicles to have 1/4 tank of fuel for all repairs, this ensures that proper testing may be performed if needed. This is also needed for a safe test drive. Vehicles that do not have a minimum of 1/4 tank of fuel may be subject to a "Fuel Surcharge" of current fuel prices Southern Charm Mobile Auto Repair may upcharge fuel up to 20% of fuel listed price.
12. "BOOKING FEES"
• Southern Charm Mobile Auto Repair, requires all customers to pay a $50.00 Non-Refundable appointment booking/Scheduling fee. This fee is applied to the scheduled appointment. If the appointment date and or time is changed (by the customer) the scheduling fee will not be applied to the new appointment date and time, and a new $50.00 Non-Refundable fee will be required and will be applied to the new scheduled appointment. Only one $50.00 booking fee will be applied to the scheduled appointment. If customer(s) request a cancellation, a new booking fee will be required at the time of scheduling a new appointment. No refunds will be given if a customer(s) cancel a scheduled appointment Southern Charm Mobile Auto Repair has the right to reschedule an appointment at any time. If Southern Charm Mobile Auto Repair Reschedules an appointment a refund may be issued, this Refund will be at management's discretion. No refunds will be issued due to inclement weather.
13. "APPOINTMENT TIMES"
• Southern Charm Mobile Auto Repair is appointment based only. Appointment times vary with being mobile; we allow up to one hour past scheduled appointment time for the technician to arrive.
14. "CANCELATION"
• You may cancel a scheduled appointment at any time, subject to the following. If you cancel any scheduled job, you will lose the "Booking Fee" if no booking fee was paid prior to the scheduled appointment, you will be charged a $50.00 cancellation fee for the technician's time Southern Charm Mobile Auto Repair, reserves the right to establish, remove and/or revise our cancellation policy or cancellation fees at any time in our discretion.
15. "PHOTOS AND VIDEOS"
• We may capture photographs, video, and/or audio recordings during the course of providing our services for purposes including quality assurance, training, documentation of work performed, safety, fraud prevention, and dispute resolution. Recording may include the vehicle, work area, and surrounding environment as reasonably necessary to document services.
All recordings are the property of the business and are securely stored. We do not sell or distribute recordings to third parties except as required to complete services, comply with legal obligations, enforce our policies, or protect our rights.
By using our services, visiting our website, or interacting with our technicians, you acknowledge and consent to the possibility of such recording.
If any images or footage are used for marketing, promotional, or social media purposes, reasonable efforts will be made to avoid personally identifiable information unless separate consent is obtained.

17. "BATTERY WARRANTY"

• Southern Charm Mobile Auto Repair reserves the rights to void any warranty at any time. (Battery manufacturers offer up to 5 year warranty please contact the Battery manufacture to determine the specific warranty of the parts installed)
18. "ALIGNMENTS'
Southern Charm Mobile Auto Repair, does not offer alignments on any vehicle.
19. "OIL/OTHER FLUIDS"
• Southern Charm Mobile Auto Repair, does not offer a warranty of any fluids used in vehicle. Southern Charm Mobile Auto Repair recommends using manufacture recommended fluids and replacement schedules.
20. "QUOTES"
• All vehicle repair quotes are valid for 30-Days from the initial quote date.
21. "BRAKES"
• All brake warranties are for pad(s) and rotor(s) and or brake shoe(s) and brake drum(s). No warranty can be used on "PADS" if no new rotor(s) and or drum(s) are installed. Just installing brake pads can cause an increase in brake "DUST" and or brake "NOISE" all brake warranties are VOID if just pads are installed.
22. "A/C WARRANTY"
• No Warranty on "Evac and Recharge" for an A/C diagnostic. No Warranty on "Evac and Recharge" for an A/C system, this includes post repairs that are "first steps only". All items that are not included in an "A/C KIT" are subject to no warranty unless otherwise documented on the repair order by Southern Charm Mobile Auto Repair. No A/C Warranty is valid without a complete system A/C ``FLUSH".
23. "WORK AREA"
• You agree to treat Technicians courteously and lawfully, to provide a safe and appropriate working environment that follows all applicable laws and regulations, and to provide reasonable cooperation to enable Technicians to complete the requested/required job.
24. "WARRANTY CLAIM"
• Once you file a claim with us, our claims team will evaluate the claim to determine preliminary eligibility for coverage of Vehicle Services under this Limited Warranty. If eligible, we will send a technician to inspect the problem. If the Technician determines that there is a defect in materials or workmanship of the Vehicle Services and we elect to perform remedial service work and/or replace defective part(s) installed (instead of providing a refund), we will create a new appointment to perform such work and/or replace such part(s) at no cost to you.
• If the Technician determines that the claimed defect is not the result of a defect in materials or workmanship of the Vehicle Services, you will be charged for one hour of labor fees. All defective parts replaced under this Limited Warranty must be returned to us. By starting a warranty claim you agree to a diagnostic fee of $100 (Plus tax and fees). This fee may be adjusted after the initial warranty inspection. If the warranty inspection is within the 6-month 6,000-mile service period and the issues are part failure and or a workmanship issue you may not be charged. If the issues are unrelated to the previous repair(s)/ you will be charged for one hour of labor fees if a service call is made under this Limited Warranty for an alleged defect determined not to be the result of a defect in materials or workmanship of the Vehicle Services. You must pay for any non-warranty service ordered at the same time as any warranty service.

25. "Mechanic Lien"
• An express lien is acknowledged on my vehicle to secure the amount of services thereto. A mechanic's lien is a security interest in the title to property for the benefit of those who have supplied labor or materials that improve the property. The lien exists for both real property and personal property. By agreeing to term 25 of Southern Charm Mobile Auto Repair terms and conditions you the consumer, understand/"NO PAYMENT NO KEYS" in addition the vehicle may be towed and booted at the owner's expense, until outstanding agreed upon balance is paid in full. Boot Fees are $200 for first 48 hours. After that fees are $50 per day until 7th day at which the vehicle may be towed/impounded and a mechanics lien filed.
26. "Same Day Priority Fee"
• Same Day Priority Fee(s) are for priority bookings of same day. Southern Charm Mobile Auto Repair, Same Day Priority fee is a $150 Non-Refundable fee. Failure to pay a Same Day priority charge may result in "An express lien" see term 3 on Southern Charm Mobile Auto Repair "Terms and Conditions" page.
